How to reach Genoa
By plane
Cristoforo Colombo Airport, Genoa, Italy (code: GOA)
Connects with London, Munich, Paris, Madrid
Take the Volabus (city bus from the airport) to downtown Principe Station.
From Milan's Malpensa Airport:
Take bus to downtown Milano Centrale Train Station. Trains leave hourly for Genoa Principe or Genoa Brignole train stations; ride is approximately 1 h. 45 min.
Or take Volpi bus line directly to Genoa, Piazza della Vittoria.
From Rome:
Take a connecting flight to Genoa's Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Or, to travel by train, take connecting train to Rome Termini train station (30 min.) and train to Genoa (approximately 6 hours).
By train
Genoa has two major train stations: Genoa Piazza Principe and Genoa Brignole. Both are centrally located and easily accessible to all parts of the city.
By car
Take Italian Autostrada from France A 10, exit at Genoa Ovest and follow signs for Genova Centro;
- from Milan A 7, exit at Genoa Ovest and follow signs for Genova Centro;
- from Turin A 26, get onto A 10 and then exit at Genoa Ovest and follow signs for Genova Centro;
- from the south A 12, get off at Genoa Est and follow signs for Genova Centro.
